Dracup Lodge Nursery is a full day childcare facility catering for 61 children between the ages of 0-12 years. We are registered with Ofsted.
Dracup Lodge Nursery is situated in the Great Horton area of Bradford. It is located near Tesco just off Great Horton Road. It serves the local communities in Great Horton, Clayton, Queensbury, Clayton Heights, Wibsey and Bank Top. Whilst also ideally located for commuters between Bradford and Halifax.
We are located on Dracup Road adjacent to Brackenhill School. We have two large outdoor play areas the rear features a play mound, tunnel and slide, sandpit and garden area for the children to grow their own flowers and herbs. The front outdoor play area has a play house and construction/muddy area. While inside the nursery provides a light and airy environment supported by friendly, warm, experienced and qualified staff.
We have an excellent 5 Star rating awarded by Bradford Environmental Health Inspectorate for our kitchen and control procedures in use. We provide well balanced meals and snacks throughout the day. We operate a four weekly menu rotation with seasonal changes/updates to ensure a balanced and healthy set of meals for the children each day.
The nursery provides a home from home environment in a warm and welcoming provision where children can have fun in a stimulating child centred environment. Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and is regulated by Ofsted. We provide the right balance of highly effective adult led and child initiated activities, while providing an extensive range of age appropriate equipment and activities both indoors and outdoors. Highest regard is given to the safeguarding of children with experienced qualified and vetted staff team along with CCTV and electronic entry systems.
